Zach Nix saw a need and set out to fill it. As a firefighter, he has seen all the struggles that people have with getting health care they need. That’s what inspired Zach and his partner to start Georgia MedPort www.georgiamedport.com. It started with 1 van and a vision. They still have that 1st van, and have added 2 more vans, along with 17 ambulances.
Most of their patients have chronic illnesses. The caring spirit Zach has makes him the perfect person for such a job. “It’s not about the money. I enjoy helping people. I enjoy serving and have been a servant of the community for 21 years.”
We thank Zach for taking the time to answer some questions about his life, interests, and love for serving others to share with fellow members of our community.
