Zach Nix saw a need and set out to fill it. As a firefighter, he has seen all the struggles that people have with getting health care they need. That’s what inspired Zach and his partner to start Georgia MedPort www.georgiamedport.com. It started with 1 van and a vision. They still have that 1st van, and have added 2 more vans, along with 17 ambulances.
Most of their patients have chronic illnesses. The caring spirit Zach has makes him the perfect person for such a job. “It’s not about the money. I enjoy helping people. I enjoy serving and have been a servant of the community for 21 years.”
zach-nix-001We thank Zach for taking the time to answer some questions about his life, interests, and love for serving others to share with fellow members of our community.
