Mellow Mushroom: Brooke Borders

Meet Brooke Borders! Brooke is a bartender at Mellow Mushroom in Gainesville and loved by, well…everybody! Brooke is a longtime Gainesville resident and in her spare time, she is an artist. She creates art from reclaimed metal, horseshoes and other finds.
“Any good bartender has the ability to pour the perfect beer or make a mean mixed drink. What sets Brooke apart is the way she makes you feel instantly welcomed and valued the moment you slide into your seat,” said Mellow Mushroom customer Erin Williamson. “I’m sure she’s had her share of bad days, but you’d never know it. Brooke’s gift is her ability to make your day brighter for as long as you’re in her presence.”
Recently, we caught up with Brooke to find out a little more about her life and love of the area.
