WHY BUY WITH US?
Your goals are important to us. We listen to you, asking lots of questions to learn what is important to you. We give you the time and attention you need. Having our Team’s in-depth knowledge of the local market is invaluable to you as together we find your perfect property, negotiate the best price for that property, and help and advise you from the first offer to the closing day. We never make decisions for you; rather, we consult with you, providing information, options and strategies for you to move forward with confidence in your choices.
FINDING YOUR HOME
You can search our website for real estate anytime, and you can even create “saved searches” where you will automatically be emailed new properties that meet your criteria. Searching for homes on the internet may be a fun, user-friendly first step in looking at the market. The absolute best way to find what you are looking for is to talk to one of us. We work hard every day, talking to dozens of people about real estate and our local market. Because of our connections, sometimes we find the perfect properties for our clients before these properties are ever actually “for sale”.
NEGOTIATING YOUR PURCHASE
There can be many negotiating factors when purchasing real estate, such as price, financing, terms, dates of possession, property repairs, closing costs, furnishings & fixtures, warranties, and deadlines, to name a few. In addition, your purchase contract should provide a period of time for you to complete appropriate inspections of the property before you are bound to complete the purchase. We will advise you as to which inspections are recommended and/or required. We negotiate real estate purchases daily. Our Team’s combined 80+ years experience representing buyers will give you the edge in contract negotiations.
MORTGAGES – A CRITICAL CONNECTION
If you are like many purchasers, your real estate contract will be contingent on your ability to obtain financing. Your choice of a lender is one of the most critical decisions in the entire real estate process. You want to do business with a loan officer who is experienced, local, ethical, efficient and responsive. We are happy to provide a list of lenders who meet the standards outlined above and with whom our clients have had great experiences. It is absolutely vital that you make the right choice when selecting a mortgage officer. We can help you make the right connections.
CONNECTIONS – PEOPLE YOU NEED TO KNOW
One of our favorite things to do … making connections for our customers and clients. Need a tennis coach for your 6th grader? A dentist? An estate attorney? Need to know the 3 best restaurants in the area for lunch? Whatever you need, especially if you are new to Gainesville/Hall County, we will do our best to connect you. Call us anytime you need to be connected. We’ll be happy to help!
RELOCATION – MAKING YOUR MOVE
If you are relocating to this area, we want to be the first to welcome you to one of America’s finest locales! We believe you’re going to LOVE living here! Please contact us so we can send you information on our area. We happily provide community tours and assist with the relocation of new employees for many local businesses, including The Longstreet Clinic, Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Hall County School System, Gainesville City School System, North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, Lakeview Academy, Brenau University, Riverside Military Academy, Specialty Clinics of Georgia and Mansfield Oil. Some of our most recent buyer clients moved here from Illinois, New Hampshire, Delaware, Oregon, Mississippi and Texas. We look forward to meeting you and finding the right area and neighborhood for you and your family.
ETHICS & PROFESSIONALISM – TRUST IS ESSENTIAL
Use a Realtor®. Not all real estate practitioners are Realtors®. The term “Realtor®” identifies a real estate professional who adheres to the strict Code of Ethics of the National Association of Realtors®, based on professionalism and the protection of the public. We are Realtors®. As our client, you can expect honest and ethical representation in all transaction-related matters.
FULL TIME DEDICATION – WE WORK HARD FOR YOU

We work over 200 hours a week, every week, marketing and selling real estate. As our client, you can expect our hard work and full-time commitment to helping you reach your goals. We are here for you.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
We worked with Beverly Filson. She listened carefully to our likes and dislikes and chose properties that met our criteria. We were not always available but she adjusted her schedule to accommodate us. She promptly returned emails and phone calls. My husband is a realtor in Tennessee, and I think he is very hard to please. Beverly exceeded his expectations. It is very difficult to be a realtor’s realtor! I was particularly impressed that, even though our home was moderately priced, Beverly treated us as though we were buying a million dollar property. She was clearly interested in our long-term satisfaction. In addition, since we were new to the area, Beverly answered many unrelated questions about the community. Brad Abernathy also was involved in negotiations on a property we did not purchase and was invaluable. -Joy Whiteside
