The Coffee Shop at Lawrence Pharmacy serves breakfast and lunch from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday. They have a variety of foods on their breakfast menu like, shrimp and cheese grits, omelets, “Cathead” biscuits with sausage gravy; and of course, fresh brewed coffee.
Their lunch menu includes Philly cheesesteaks, a selection of sandwiches like, chicken salad sandwiches and grilled crab cake BLTs, along with soup, salads, and burgers.
Lawrence Pharmacy is a glimpse into days gone by and easily takes you back to 1950s Gainesville, when the eatery opened.
According to the staff, one of the most popular items on the menu are their Angus ground beef hamburgers, patty melts and homemade soups and sandwiches.
