Meet Robby Dunahoo! Robby is a lifelong Hall County resident, attended North Hall High School, works in the construction and grading industry and has a son, Brye. Robby says that he loves his career, especially his clients.

When Robby isn’t working he loves spending time with family and friends on Lake Lanier.
Recently, we caught up with Robby to find out more about his life and love of Hall County.

Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A: “I have always loved working outside, I love the look on client’s faces when they first see how their project turned out. I love helping people’s dreams come to life.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County, and what do you love there? 
A: “This is such a hard question with all the great places to go! Well Mellow Mushroom is definitely at the top of my list, it has a great environment and I love the pretzel bites and beer cheese! I also love Avocados, you can’t go to either place without running into a friend.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County? 
A: “I’ve lived here my whole life. I did take a job in Texas for a short period of time, it was a great job and I really enjoyed it but I couldn’t see myself staying there long term, I had to come back home!”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met in Hall County and why? 
A: “Tim Savage, owner of Tim Savage Construction. He gave me my very first construction job and we have continued to work together. I have learned a lot about construction from him.”
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: There are so many! Hunting and fishing with my family, racing karts on dirt track, and of course, swimming in Lake Lanier!”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Alaska for a week to see if i could survive in the wilderness.”
Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: “‘The Land Before Time.’ Loved it.”
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people? 
A: “Go to work!”
Q: What is something on your bucket list? 
A: “Bow hunt a brown bear!”
Q: What is your favorite music/ three bands you would like to see (dead or alive)? 
A: “Jimmy Hendrix, Frank Sinatra, and A Perfect Circle, hands down best three ever!”
Q: What local business makes you the most nostalgic about Hall County and why? 
A: “Johnny’s BBQ. My Memaw would bring it home for supper a few days a week while I was growing up and I always loved it. It’s still one of my favorites.”
Q: Choosing anyone (past or present and a non-relative), with whom would you love to have lunch?  And where locally would you have this lunch?
A: “A homeless man, anywhere he wants.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hall County? 
A: “The wonderful people, Lake Lanier, and my friends and family.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five or 10 years? 
A: “Managing a successful construction and grading company, married, and maybe a couple more kids!”
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “I have never met my biological mother.”
Q: What three words mean “Home” to you?
A: “Foundation, Family, Love.”
