Meet Art Gallegos! Art is originally from San Diego, is married to Juanit and father to five! Art is the Neighborhood Coordinator at the Georgia Mountain Food Bank and created the Latino Conservative Organization.
“Being a neighborhood coordinator means I go out to neighborhoods, apartments and find out what the needs are,” he said. “I love what I do and connecting with folks and serving people and the community…I’m blessed to be working here and kind of split myself in three areas because I’m also in ministry, I’m an evangelist.”
Art’s father was a pastor as well and instilled community involvement in Art at a young age.
“I’ve been pretty active in serving, church, pastors, pastors kids and I’ve always been very involved in serving others and working with community,” he said.
We want to thank Art for recently sitting down with us and telling us more about his life and love of Hall County.
