Meet Bishonna Jones! Bishonna is a family engagement specialist, author, educator and mother of three; Jaleah, Hyland and Savannah.

She has an undergrad degree from the University of Memphis and graduate degree from Troy University.
“I help parents, schools, and communities increase student achievement and strengthen families by partnering for success!” she said.
We want to thank Bishonna for recently taking the time to tell us more about her life and love of Hall County.

Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Answer: “I realized around my 8th year of teaching that what transpired in the classroom with the kids was a direct reflection of a breakdown amongst the adults (parents, school, and community). In order for the students to do better, we had to reach back and educate the parents. Once I had this epiphany it became my mission to be the bridge between parents, schools, and communities to show everyone how to partner for success. That’s how I became a family engagement specialist and why I now write books to promote active parenting, and also train and consult with schools and community organizations on how to better reach and serve families.”
