Ed Waller FinalEd Waller Jr. is the owner of Gainesville’s local grocery store Green’s Grocery. Waller just recently celebrated his 50th birthday and has always been a supporter of the community and Gainesville High School athletics. He is married and has a son and daughter.
Green’s Grocery is famous for a couple things one being their chicken salad, which is a staple in many kitchens around Gainesville. Beyond the chicken salad, Green’s sells an array of smoked meats, hand-cut steaks and one of the best wine selections in Hall County.
Ed also is a music lover and has been known to play in local bands from time to time. He says the song that reminds him the most of Gainesville is “Honeysuckle Blue” by Drivin’ N’ Cryin’.
Outside of music and serving the community, Waller likes to play golf, is a lifelong Atlanta Falcons fan and spends time with his family.
