Meet Jada Harrison! Jada is a senior at Gainesville High School and recently was crowned Homecoming Queen during football season. Jada also runs track and her specialty is the hurdles.
“College is in consideration but I don’t know where I’m going to go yet but I do have a couple colleges looking at me for track. My dream school is FAMU, which is Florida A & M University,” she said. “I run the 100 m hurdles, the 300 m hurdles, the 400m hurdles, 4×1 and the 200m.”
Jada’s mother Janielle added, “I was overwhelmed with joy (when Jada was crowned homecoming queen). I was really happy especially during a difficult time due to my father passing. She made me so proud and it brought back memories of my senior year. Not that she wasn’t a queen already to me!”
We want to thank Jada for recently sitting down with us and telling us more about her life and love of Hall County.
