Meet Ricky Lewallen! Ricky is a Realtor with the Abernathy Cochran Group, is married to Michelle and the couple has one daughter, Rachel. She is married to Brandon Burnett, who is a Hall County Deputy.
Ricky said he loves Hall County because of the parks in the area.
“I love all the parks and recreation that we have here. One of my favorite things is probably Laurel Park,” he said. “Growing up my dad was on a traveling Baseball team and I remember going over there a lot as a child and enjoying the pool and lake. As an adult I started participating in 3D archery tournaments out there and still do it to this day.”
We want to thank Ricky for spending time with us recently to tell us more about his life and love of Hall County.
Question: What inspired you or lead you to your current career?
Answer: “What led me into Real Estate was my brother Ron got started and was doing well and that interested me but when I was in high school a math teacher was talking about careers and she did a little thing about Real Estate and that inspired me at a young age to consider Real Estate and all the benefits to being a Realtor.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County, and what do you love there?
A: “I love Texas Roadhouse and I love getting the Ribeye Steak.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: “I have lived in Hall County for fifty years and I have worked in Hall County for thirty four years and I have been a Real Estate agent for 19 years.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Hall County?
A: “Dary Womack he has been a positive influence in my life and a great friend. He has not only traveled all over the U.S. but all over the globe doing mission work. He is a pastor at Montgomery Baptist and has been on thirty two mission trips. He is also a Hall County fire Chaplain.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: “ If I could go anywhere in the world I would probably go to Alaska just because it’s so scenic there and I would love to see all the wildlife and get out and explore all the sites.”
Q: What is your favorite movie or what is the first movie you remember seeing in a theatre?
A: “My favorite movie would have to be ‘Forest Gump’ and the first movie I ever saw in a theatre was with my wife and we saw ‘Back to the Future,’ I believe it was when they had the theatre at the Lakeshore Mall.”
Q: What is your favorite music/ 3 bands you would like to see (dead or alive)?
A: “Eagles would be my No. 1 favorite then Elvis is my No. 2 and Prince.”
Q: What former local business makes you most nostalgic about Hall County?
A: “There was a business when me and my wife were dating that we would go to it was a little restaurant called Professors on Thompson Bridge road and we had a lot of great memories there. I really loved it.”
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? Where is Hall County would you have lunch?
A: “I would take Micheal Waddell to Johnny’s BBQ because he the most well known outdoorsmen in the world, and he is from Georgia.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hall County?

Q: Where do you see yourself in five or 100 years?
A: “Hopefully still selling Real Estate at a higher level and continue to increase my customer base, as well as traveling more with my wife Michelle.”
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “That I still love to ride dirt bikes and ATVs. I bought one off of marketplace a few months earlier and have not owned one since I was 19. I have had so much fun on it! ”
Q: What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: “Security, Love, and Contentment.”
