Meet Steve Moore! Steve a longtime Hall County resident and is the owner of European Import Service Center on McEver Road in Gainesville.
Steve moved to Hall County in 1989 and opened his own business in 1990. He is married to Donna and the couple has two children; Shawn, 31 and Brandy, 29. Both of the Moore children work at European Import Service and Steve wouldn’t have it any other way.
“It’s been amazing because they have really picked up on my hard work ethic but then really they have exceeded me in some areas. My daughter is a whiz…she can do anything on the administrative end and my son as far as figuring cars out, he’s better than I am,” Steve said.
We want to thank Steve for recently spending some time with us and telling us more about his life and love of Hall County.
Question: What lead you to your current career?
Answer: “I’ve been in business since 1990, so 28 years. I worked at a local dealer, I was pretty young at the time, because I was young I wasn’t getting paid what I felt like I should be getting paid and I just ventured out on my own and my customers followed me. I started off with nothing…they wanted $750 up front rent when I went out on my own and that’s all I had.  A few years ago, Butch Miller and I worked out a deal on a trade on some property and I moved to our current location.”
