Old Town Flowery Branch is seeing a revolution of small boutiques and eateries just like Liberty Candy Company. The candy store offers handmade chocolates, fudge and other nostalgic treats, made with the freshest ingredients that you will remember from your childhood.
Karen Ching, opened Liberty Candy Company in 2013, in a historic building in Flowery Branch that was built in 1906. Because of the historic nature of the building many fixtures were renovated to use to which adds to the nostalgia of the building.
What’s even better is you can shop online for the sweet treats at Liberty Candy Company, as well. The chocolate shop carries sugar free candy and chocolates and proudly uses Mercken’s milk and chocolates.
Selections online and in the store include treats like Dark Chocolate Caramels, (12 for $10), Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels (12 for $10) and Milk Chocolate Caramel Pecan Turtles, and many more.

In addition to scrumptious chocolates and candies are homemade macaroons! Macaroons are a specialty, originally created in Italy but widely recognized as a French dessert, and are a round small cake made with a variety of ingredients like almonds, coconut and other flavorings. Macaroons are truly a treat and we are lucky to have a shop making them homemade in Flowery Branch!
