If you have been searching for Indian cuisine in Gainesville, you are in luck! 786 Kebab & Curry is set to open their second location in Gainesville in just a couple weeks.
The new restaurant is located at 833 Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville.
The restaurant owned by Sajid and Connie Akhtar is their sixth restaurant venture; other restaurants the couple owns are located in California and Dubai.
“I just love Gainesville and this area and knew I wanted to open a restaurant here,” Sajid said.
The couple opened their first 786 Kebab & Curry about five years ago in Buford. They moved to the area 10 years ago, with their two sons, from California.
786 Kebab & Curry will be an Indian and Pakistani buffet that will serve dishes like Chicken Tandoori, Vegetable Curry dishes, Chicken, Lam and Goat Curry.
