Alpha Gyro Grill is located on the corner of E.E. Butler Parkway and Queen City Parkway in Gainesville; and quickly became one of Gainesville’s favorite dining spots!
If you are in the mood for a gyro, spanakopita (spinach pie) or a Greek salad; among other Greek specialities, Alpha is your destination in Gainesville.
“We love the spinach pie and the beef and lamb meat is perfect!” said Abernathy Cochran’s Rosemary Hancock. “Our whole family loves this place, even my 9 month old who’s favorite thing to eat is the hummus.
“The space is bright and happy…just a bustling place.”
Chris Romberg, another agent with Abernathy Cochran, said his favorite dish is the chicken gyro platter, which includes a gyro, French fries, salad and chunk of feta cheese. Patrons also can choose Greek potatoes or rice instead of French fries.
Another popular dish is the Olympian platter. The platter includes gyro meat, skewers, salad, potatoes and a pita.
