The anatomy of a sandwich is quite simple: bread, meat, cheese, a spread of some sort and maybe some veggies.
Keeping things basic is what, after 43 years, has made the Inn-Between Deli in Gainesville so unique. Nothing ever changed with their selection of sandwiches, any day of the work week you could run in and get the same roast beef sandwich; and know it was the same sandwich you might have purchased 20 years ago.
But after over 40 years of selling beloved sandwiches to Gainesville, owners Wesley and Suzanne Gailey are passing the torch to Anderson Dunlap, the deli’s new owner.
At the end of July, Dunlap will take the helm but no worries; but nothing will change with the deli’s offerings. Customers will still have the chance to pick up premade sandwiches, on a selection of breads, or eat in at the deli.
With all the change in our lives, from even month to month, it’s nice to see that some things never change.
