Hall Eats: Blue Fin lettuce wraps

Of course, we all love a good hibachi dinner which is one of Bluefin’s specialties but have you tried their sushi, lettuce wraps or fresh, handmade crab rangoon?
Bluefin just celebrated their second anniversary in March and according to Yelp reviews (and our personal experience); they are one of the best places in North Georgia to grab hibachi, sushi and other Asian inspired dishes.
The hibachi dish choices are combinations of steak, shrimp, chicken, salmon and scallops with fried rice and a vegetable medley. The hibachi dinners arrive at the table piping hot and very tasty.
But next time you head to Bluefin, think about trying the lettuce wraps and crab rangoon off of the appetizer menu for something a little different.
The crab rangoon is handmade and larger than what you are likely used to at a small Chinese joint. The duck sauce is homemade and the filling is delicious.
Now as far as the lettuce wraps go, you won’t want to order the lettuce wraps at PF Chang’s again after trying the Bluefin version. The lettuce wrap filling is a mixture of minced chicken sautéed with Shitake mushrooms, baby corn and water chestnut, served with iceberg lettuce leaves. What is great about the lettuce wraps is that they are healthy, filling and the large portion allows you to have a great lunch the next day.
Bluefin also has a variety of sushi rolls and combinations, along with noodle dishes, soups and other Asian inspired dishes.
For example, try the homemade Pad Thai or the Indian Chicken Lo Mein. The Indian Chicken Lo Mein is Indian style stir-fried noodles with chicken, onion, eggs and bean sprouts with your choice of meat in curry flavorful sauce. The dish is tasty and can be substituted with shrimp or beef for a small upcharge.
The service is quick and friendly; and if you are planning to visit with a large group you can call ahead and make reservations.
Bluefin is open 7 days a week and also for lunch. Lunch specials include Hibachi Bowl specials along with a sushi roll special.
They also offer kids meals like the Filet with Fried Rice and a To Go menu that can be found on their website.
