Southern Baked Pie


This weekend is the 26th annual Marketplace holiday shopping event at the Gainesville Civic Center. The annual event kicks off on Nov. 2 with the preview party and shopping is open to the public on Nov. 3 and 4 with a $5 general admission price.

Local artist Leigh-Anne Gross O’Brien is the featured artist for Marketplace this year.


One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Safe Kids Gainesville/Hall County, led by Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The premier sponsor for the event is the Willis Investment Counsel for the ninth consecutive

Marketplace 2017 features more than 80 merchants from six to eight states and many from Hall County. Items featured at Marketplace will be:

Be sure to visit Artist’s Row in the Green Street tent on Friday & Saturday; it will feature local artisans including Eleanor Rose Custom Art, Handbags by Pam from Flowery Branch, Hym from Clermont, Pretty, Pretty, Southern Baked Pie, among others. Other local artists featured during Marketplace will be McCree Simmons art, Courtney Martin, Margaret Gaines and many others.
